Beach sand mining to come under ‘Make in India’

Saturday 22 August 2015 12:03 PM IST

byThomas Dominique

New Delhi: Black-sand mining in Kollam could be included under the central government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. The move is based on a project plan submitted by the state government to develop value-added mineral-soil industries in the Chavara coast. The state would have to ensure availability of mineral soil and cooperation from people and local organisations in the area.

The state government has proposed plans to enhance current production levels and make the industry more productive. It is not averse to the idea that mining be entrusted with the public sector completely, while product diversification and value enhancement be entrusted to the private sector.

It was decided to include the project under the ‘Make in India’ initiative following discussions made by ministers Shibu Baby John and N K Premachandran with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The project would go ahead only after considering the interests and opinion of the people in the area.

The central government is interested in the project because of positive inputs from studies conducted by the central atomic department that has hinted at immense possibilities using sand mined from Chavara. The mineral sands in the area are composed of more than 60 per cent Ilmenite, which works out to a total of about eight crore tonnes having a market value of about Rs1.42 lakh crore. The 76 lakh tonnes of Rutile deposits is worth about Rs1.12 lakh crore and the 1.27 crore tonnes of Zircon is worth about Rs1.80 lakh crores. In the Chavara beach alone, the worth of rare minerals is about 4.52 lakh crore.

Currently, Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL) and Kerala Minerals and Metals are not able to conduct mining operations effectively in the region. If production is ramped up to five lakh tonnes a year, value-added industries would have bigger scope. The IREL factory in Chavara produces two lakh tonnes of Ilmenite, which is 15-20 per cent of capacity.

Uses of mineral sand

Q grade Ilmenite, which is considered to have the highest quality and purity, is abundant in Chavara. When Ilmenite production is increased, import of Titanium Dioxide can be reduced. The by-product, Iron Oxide, can be used in the steel industry.

While the requirement of Titanium dioxide is two lakh tonnes in the nation per year, its production is a mere 40,000 tonnes as of now. If sufficient quantities are made available, about Rs 4,000 crore can be saved each year.

Rate metal Titanium can be produced from ‘Q’ grade Ilmenite. The metal, which is many times stronger than steel, is most used in aerospace industries. Production of about 50,000 tonnes per year is optimum.

The Tsunami had destroyed the industry. After the Tsunami struck, the percentage of dense metals in the beach dropped to 24 per cent from 54 per cent. IREL could no more depend on beach mining exclusively for its needs.

The challenge now is lack of land and since leasing land is difficult, authorities might have to purchase land. Considering density of population and land prices, a master plan that takes into consideration the social and economic interests of the society has to be evolved to take the initiative ahead.

In 2004, Monazite Production has stopped due to lack of market, as materials from another Asian Country became available at a much lower cost – Minister of State for Mines and Steel confirms this in Rajya Sabha

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA

MINISTRY OF MINES

RAJYA SABHA

UNSTARRED QUESTION NO.420

TO BE ANSWERED ON THE 26th NOVEMBER, 2014

STUDY FOR EXPLORATION OF RARE EARTH ELEMENTS

  1. SHRI AVINASH PANDE:

Will the Minister of MINES be pleased to state:

  • whether Government is planning to formulate any policy or has undertaken any study for the exploration and exploitation of Rare Earth Elements; and

  • if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

A N S W E R

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR MINES & STEEL (SHRI VISHNU DEO SAI)

(a) & (b) Yes Sir, exploration and exploitation of Rare Earth Elements (REE) are being undertaken.

Monazite, a mineral of Thorium and REE is the only commercial source of Rare Earths in the country at present. It is a prescribed substance under the provisions of Atomic Energy Act, 1962 and also appears as Atomic Mineral in Part B of First schedule of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulations) Act, 1957. Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research (AMDER), a constituent unit of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) carries out the exploration, establishment and development of atomic minerals in the country, including Monazite.

Geological Survey of India (GSI) is also carrying out exploration in different parts of the country for other sources of REE.

lndian Rare Earths Limited (IREL), a PSU under the administrative control of DAE, has been processing Monazite at its Rare Earths Division at Alwaye, Kerala. During the period 1952 to 2004, IREL has processed Monazite to produce Rare Earths compounds. In 2004, this has stopped due to lack of market, as materials from another Asian Country became available at a much lower cost. Recently IREL has set up a plant at Orissa Sand Complex (OSCOM), Odisha to process 10000 tonnes of Monazite per annum. IREL has set up a facility at its Rare Earths Division, Alwaye, Kerala, to produce Separated High Purity Rare Earth utilising mixed rare earth chloride produced from Monazite processing plant at Odisha.

Our objection to Frontline News published on 24th July 2015 Edition

Our  Beach Mineral Producers Association send the below mentioned objection letter to the news published in Frontline as “The Mother of All Loot” and “Life is not a Beach” print edition dated 24th July 2015 by Ilangovan Rajasekaran.  We hope they may publish the same in their magazine.

Date : 10.07.2015

To

The Editor,

Frontline Magazine,

The Hindu Group, Kasturi Buildings, 859/860, Anna Salai,

Chennai.

Sir,

This is with reference to the News of cover story about Beach Sand Mining Heading as “The Mother of All Loot” and “Life is not a Beach” print edition dated 24th July 2015.  .

This is one sided story created by Ilangovan Raja Sekaran with ulterior motive only to help Mr.Dayadevadas. For this ill motive, they have used the  Ex-Panchayat president and their gang as a tool. If you go through the website of Fisheries department, you can find out that, there is no reduction or export of fish production on year by year. The over exploitation is the reason for reduction of fishes in sea. Global warming is the main reason all over the world for Sea Erosion.

No sea erosion is acquired in any of the beach mineral mining area, as the mining activity is carried out under the direct supervision of Geologist and Mining Engineers etc., Out of 7500 KM of Indian coast line, more than 1500 km coast is eroded, Whereas, mining is in selected packets only. This will establish that there is no connection between sea erosion and placer mineral mining.

A Group of fisherman were fed by Mr.Dayadevadas to give statement against the mining industries. We have a video on  our website for this effect, please visit www.beachminerals.org .

Mr.Ashish Kumar tampered the documents and created a forgery inspection  report with ill-motive immediately  after he was transferred from Tuticorin Collector. Permission for prosecution was sent to government with documentary evidences. All the documents are available in our websitewww.beachminerals.org.  You can go through the same.

Export of minerals does not comes under the purview of MMDR Act. In fact all the private mining lessees obtained proper clearances from MoEF, whereas, Govt., Company Indian Rare Earths Ltd alone not obtained environmental clearance or CRZ Clearance from MoEF.

There are videos in our  website, where the fisherman community panchayat president lady told there is no affect to fisher man community due to the beach mineral mining.

The picture you have showed with Mr.Gagandeep Singh Beedi is a mined mineral heap. Due to the ban imposed by the State Govt., it could not be transported and thus it become a national waste. The above picture is misused by your reporter to create this article.

In fact, the mega scale illegal mining was done by Mr.Dayadevdas alone for a tune of more than 3.9 million Metric Ton. You can visit the same in http://www.beachminerals.org/large-scale-illegal-mining-major-violations-tamilnadu-govt-determine-mining-lease-granted-southern-enterprises-belongs-dayadevadas-claim-president-federation-o/ .

The motivation behind this news is only to prejudice the judiciary and the government. In our opinion, the said reporter may receive a huge ransom for that purpose.

Please publish our objection on your print as well as digital medias.

With Regards

New mining law comes at a cost for companies SAIL, Tata Steel, Hindalco

New mining law comes at a cost for companies SAIL, Tata Steel, Hindalco

Under new mining law, the cost of production will increase for companies SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco, Sesa Sterlite

The new mining law, while streamlining the process of grant and renewal of mining leases of commodities like iron ore, manganese ore or bauxite, would increase the cost of production for companies like SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco and Sesa Sterlite.

Though the existing mining leases of these companies would continue till March 31, 2020, for non-captive usage and March 31, 2030, for captive purposes, which is a positive development, the pressure would come from the royalty pay out to the District Mineral Fund (DMF), now created to take care of the people affected due to mining activity. This payment would be in addition to the royalty they pay to the states.

The provision is that the companies would pay 100% of the value of the mineral as royalty to the DMF, which would lead to increased cost of production of finished goods like steel or aluminium as the case may be.

mining law, iron ore, manganese ore, bauxite, SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco

For instance, currently the royalty for iron ore is 15%. A company pays 15% of its value as royalty to the state government and now would pay another 15% to the DMF. Only once the lease expires either in 2020 or 2030 will the royalty to DMF come down to 1/3rd of the royalty they pay to state governments.

In the steel sector, for instance where SAIL and Tata Steel have captive iron ore mines, the additional 100% royalty pay out to DMF would increase their cost of production of steel. Ideally such price increases are passed on to the consumer. However, in case of steel if the prices in the  international market are depressed at any given point of time, it would be difficult for the companies to pass on the hike.

Similarly, for non-captive miners of iron ore, the cost of mining the product would increase but its actual passage to buyers would depend on the demand for the commodity globally at any given point of time.

For a company like JSW Steel though there’s a long-term benefit as it could look at getting a captive iron ore mine through competitive bids, in the short-term it could get impacted if the iron ore prices rule high. The pressure on earnings of these companies would continue  even when their existing leases expire and they are able to reclaim the mines through auctions.

Even then, the passing of the bid price to the end consumer would depend on the demand for that particular commodity globally at the given point of time.

India goes deep sea to mine gold

India has begun an exploration for mineral deposits and precious metals like gold and silver in the Southern Indian Ocean. (Representative image)
CHENNAI: India has begun an exploration for mineral deposits and precious metals like gold and silver in the Southern Indian Ocean. The country’s first ever seabed exploration for polymetallic sulphides is being done in the Rodriguez Triple Junction (RTJ), a geological junction in the southernIndian Ocean where three tectonic plates meet near Mauritius.

Scientists at the National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR), Goa said that the country has been granted 10,000sqkm near RTJ for seabed exploration of polymetallic sulphide, a mineral deposit with three or more metals in commercial quantities. The license to conduct exploration for 15 years was granted in 2014 by the International Seabed Authority (ISA), an autonomous international organization established under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

Earth sciences secretary Shailesh Nayak said they have completed the first level of exploration. ” A large amount of data was collected, including videos and photographs which are being analysed,” he said.

National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai and NCAOR will jointly take up the second level of exploration soon. The process involves a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that identifies hydrothermal vents, which are fissures on the surface, commonly found near active volcanic areas associated with tectonic structures. At RTJ, scientists involved in the planning of the exploration said that there are black smokers, a kind of hydrothermal vent that emits particle laden fluids. “These black smokers vents have plumes. When they emit hot liquid, they also eject minerals,” a scientist explained.

Polymetallic sulphide commonly hold copper, iron and lead, besides gold and silver in lesser quantities. A scientist at NCAOR said that a ROSUB 6000, a work class underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) with a depth rating of 6,000metres developed at NIOT will be deployed. It will capture videos with its high resolution cameras from a distance of about 1.5 metres, as the black smokers vent eject hot fluid that have high temperature of 350 to 375 degrees Celsius.

The exploration will also help in studying the chemosynthetic bacteria which forms the base of the food chain.

    Titanium back in reckoning

    Titanium back in reckoning

But technical hurdles make processing difficult, though India has 21 per cent of global deposits

It’s as strong as steel, more durable than and has a higher fashion quotient than platinum when it comes to avant garde jewellery. It’s titanium, nicknamed the “space-age metal” for its widespread use in airlines and defence because of its lightweight and durable nature. Only a handful of countries boasts of deposits and India is one of them, with 21 per cent of the global deposits along its 7,000-km coastline.

Over the past decade, many companies have set out to mine the metal. Tata had planned a Rs 2,500-crore titanium dioxide project in Tamil Nadu, but was forced to put it on the back burner in 2007 after it ran into land problems. More recently in 2013, signed a memorandum of understanding with Kerala Minerals & Metals for a Rs 5,000-crore joint venture to make titanium sponge. That project too is languishing. But with a $150-billion window of opportunity in defence equipment with the government’s ‘Make-in-India’ push, titanium is back in the reckoning.

    NOT SO SHINING
    • India has 21 per cent of the world’s titanium bearing minerals
    • Extant along the Indian coastline
    • Of the 7,000km, only 2,500km has been explored
    • India’s installed capacity is 1 per cent; 75 per cent is met through imports
    • Per capita consumption is 0.15 kg compared to 5 kg in developed countries

Last week, representatives from the attended a pre-bid meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation, or APMDC, to develop heavy mineral sands, or deposits of the metal along the beach. So did Dubai-headquartered, Trimex group, and eight other companies, says Consultant P Panduranga Rao.

Among the other major groups interested in titanium is Sajjan Jindal-controlled JSW Steel. “It’s a project we are studying,” says Jindal, chairman and managing director of the steel major.

Bharat Forge has already inked a multi-year contract with Boeing Commercial Airplane to supply titanium forgings for Boeing’s next generation 737 and 737 MAX airplanes. The Indian company’s facilities in Pune and Baramati are expected to start supplying the parts to be used in the wings of the plane from the first quarter of 2016. The titanium parts will be heat treated, shaped in a forging press and machined by Bharat Forge before being shipped to Boeing Portland for machining into components. The source of the titanium parts for the project, however, is not known and Bharat Forge didn’t respond to questions sent by Business Standard.

The stages in include extracting ilmenite from beach sand and upgrading it to titanium slag, which then is purified into sponge, and cast into ingots before being processed in mills to make various items. The price increases staggeringly after each step of value addition; if ilmenite is around $600 a tonne, titanium sponge could cost as much as $15,000 a tonne.

Around 95 per cent of the titanium-bearing compounds (titanium dioxide) mined finds use in the paints, paper and plastic industries, and the rest is converted into titanium metal which is used in the aerospace and defence sectors. Despite its many advantages, one problem with the metal is its cost of production. Research reports indicate that the cost of producing titanium metal is around $6 a kg, compared to less than a $1.5 for steel and $2 for aluminium. In India, mining titanium is doubly challenging due to technological bottlenecks.

“The titanium market is oligopolistic in nature. The joint efforts of SAIL, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporate and Kerala Minerals and Metals to obtain technology from leading global suppliers/ manufacturers of titanium sponge is not yet successful and have not been very encouraging,” admits a SAIL spokesperson.

Most of the titanium slag plants currently operate in Canada, South Africa and Norway. While Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Japan, too, produce slag, their production is mainly for captive consumption.

Indian companies find themselves hamstrung by lack of technological know-how. “We were approached by a Russian company a couple of years back. The Russian project was in Odisha. But the main stumbling block is technology,” says Srei Infrastructure Finance Chairman and Managing Director Hemant Kanoria.

    Too many pitfalls
APMDC’s Rao, who is inviting companies to participate in an integrated project that includes exploration and mining of titanium, agrees with the cost and technology challenges. APMDC has proposed to develop three heavy mineral beach sand leases. For the project, the private investor would have majority stake, says Rao. Yet more than half the companies that turned up for the pre-bid meeting were local companies based in south India, possibly because others were anxious about the uncertainties involved.

Jindal, however, is more enthusiastic about titanium’s future. “A sound titanium dioxide and metal industry is essential to ensure optimum utilisation of these resources and to develop a vibrant industry. Large investment, research and development and know-how would be extremely essential to develop a world class titanium industry. Moreover, beach sand minerals have been kept out of the auctioning process in the Mines and Minerals Development Act. They need to be allowed as in the case of bulk minerals,” he says.

India has a head start with 21 per cent of the global deposits compared to 10 per cent in the case of coal and less than 10 per cent for iron. Still when it comes to mining, India has just 1 per cent of the installed capacity globally.

Much of this is accounted for by Kerala Minerals and Metals which started construction of titanium dioxide plant in 1979 and commissioned it in 1984. In 2011, it set up a titanium sponge plant and has been a strategic supplier to India’s space missions.

Titanium’s global story took a while to take off. Discovered in 1791, small amounts of the first titanium metal were produced in 1910 and on a commercial basis from 1948. Is India Inc now ready to take a leap of faith?

INTENTIONAL DISSEMINATION OF FALSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST V.V.MINERAL – AN EXPLANATION

    (Link : https://www.facebook.com/saveearthcampaigns?fref=ts)

In the above shown link few exacerbated posts were wickedly registered against  V.V.Mineral. The reality of the posts were explained with the under shown documents. Based on that facebook has removed all the above said posts. Moreover crime action has been taken against the person who registers the posts. Since the false news has already been publicized all around in order to show the reality this   information is released.

In the film Poiye Saatchi Actor Baghiyaraj acts as a false witness in a murder case. While entering the court after getting the money he acted emotionally and went to attack the accuse and his overwhelmed acting performance finally made the innocent man to get punished. Those complainants also were undoubtedly more genius in acting than Actor Baghiyaraj.

But according to V.V.Mineral, all over India V.V.Mineral is the prime Organization which has got all the statutory clearances as per rules and running business according to the legislative conditions. This can be known if any one visits the website of Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Environment and Forest.

The aforementioned photographs resembling areas were not adjacent to any of the V.V.Mineral Mines. All these photographs are taken from different places affected by coastal erosion. Prof: http://tnfidet.blogspot.in/2012/11/pictures.html

In fact the mining lease areas of V.V.Mineral do not contain any human settlements, buildings, fisherman boat station. After assuring this only the mining lease applications will be recommended by the authorities. In addition sea erosion is a general global problem. The main reason for erosion is sea level rise and the root cause of sea level rise is climate change. India totally has 7000 kilometer long stretch coast. Among this 20%, nearly   1400 kilo meter stretches are under erosion. There is no connection between sea erosion and beach sand mining because mineral sand are the rejects of the sea and beach sand mining areas are depositional areas hence at any point mining will never leads to sea erosion.

[Source: Letter from Directorate of Coastal Erosion, Government of India].

    Pic 3

From the book “Voice for the Oceans” published by International Ocean Institute it is known that due to climate change world wide sea level rise and sea erosion are occurring and if these phenomenon are not controlled within 50 years major cities will face the problem of drowning.

(source:  Page no 7 and 9 attached for reference).

    pic 4

Besides already various newspapers have published news about global warming induced sea erosion.

    Pic -5

    pic 6

In the absence of human settlements, hutments and buildings in the mineral sand mining areas of V.V.Mineral this kind of criticism reveals how these posts are purposeful. Like during our childhood in order to bunk the class we never said fever to the class teacher because we can easily got hold of if the teacher places her hand on us so we planed to say head ache and stomach pain those ailments cannot be checked.  Likewise since sea erosion is experienced worldwide they have thought that it would be fair if they integrate sea erosion and mineral sand mining and these are their fabricated stories. Sea erosion is a global phenomenon which can be explained by the following examples.

    Pic 7

    http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/effects-of-sea-level-rise-on-tamil-nadu-coast/article892055.ece

As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned no mining leases are granted to private organizations in fishermen habitations and boat stations. But in Midalam, Keezhmidalam, Kurumpanai, Chinna vizhai, Periya Vizhai fishermen villages only Central Government owned Indian Rare Earth Ltd has been granted mining leases. In those mines mining and mineral sand collection are done by the fishermen population itself.

Moreover as per coastal regulation rules without CRZ clearance mining leases cannot be granted after 21.05.2002. V.V.Mineral has got mining leases after obtaining all the necessary clearances. That is why even during Tsunami none of their mining lease parts were affected.

Some times extreme wave and storm surges will be very high. By viewing the state alerting the fishermen and insisted them not to go for fishing is a common practice. This will also prove that the complaints were false and artificial.

Photographic proof for no human settlements in V.V.Mineral Mining lease areas is attached here under.

    pic 8

Due to Tsunami a huge quantity of mineral sand has been ejected out by sea. Almost 70 percent of mineral sands are ejected out from sea during this period can be viewed in the following website which was told by Thiru. In the settlement areas of Uvari village V.V.Mineral has no mining leases. This area also affected by extreme waves. These details were already brought to light with photographs by Daily Thanthi news paper on 12.09.2010. The proof is attached here under.

    Pic 9

It is more important that whenever the settlements in Uvari village, Anthoniyar Church and Kappel Matha Church are affected by extreme waves as per the request from Father of the church and Panchayat Head, V.V.Mineral is saving the places from damages caused by extreme erosion by dumping their waste sand in the the places. In order to limit the effects of sea erosion in Uvari, fishermen population requested groynes  from the District Collector and based on the recommendation from the District Collector groynes construction work is commencing. Few day before some private news channels have flashed the news regarding the groynes were not built properly.

In Facebook a new campaign was spread as sea water has become red in Periyathalai due to mining activities of V.V.Mineral.

    Pic 11

In fact V.V.Mineral is not having any mining lease in Periyathalai. On the contrary Indian Garnet Sand company running under the Director Thiru. Thanushkoodi Athithan and owner Thiru. Daya Devadas only has mining lease in Periyathalai (G.O No. 11, Ms.No.11, date 15.01.94). Further this photographs might have been taken from the northern areas of Trichendur. Because usually the sea between Tiruchendur and Punnakayal only be red in colour like this. We can see this while we go for Sasti to Trichendur Temple. But in these areas V.V.Mineral is not having any mining leases.

Please refer to the article published in Dinakaran News Paper 1st Jan 2012. (Source enclosed).

The photos taken in Uvari from Kappal Madha church and their boat parking areas are attached below, which will clearly reveal the sea water colour is no way different.

    pic 13

Besides sea water colour change is quiet normal in various regions of the world due to various factors. (Proof attached below)

Besides the following photographs were released as these buildings are wrecked by the mining activity of V.V.Mineral. But in reality these buildings are present in the mining village of Government company. Showing that photos they have done untruth campaign against V.V.Mineral.

    Pic 17

It is pertinent to point out here that on the face book this picture was mentioned that Periyathalai in Tirunelveli District. In fact, Periyathalai is situated in Tuticorin District of Padukapathu village and V.V.Mineral has no mining lease and only Indian Garnet Sand Company belongs to Dayadevadas alone have mining lease vide G.O.Ms.No. 11  dated 15.01.94.

In Uvari Panchayat election Thiru. Antony Raj and Uvari St. Atony’s Higher Secondary school Head master Thiru Pavar Singh’s wife Mrs. Thembavani were contested. In the election Pavar Singh’s wife Mrs. Thembavani won and defeated Thiru. Antony Raj. Thiru Pavar Singh is V.V.Mineral Managing Director Vaikundarajan’s school friend. So,  Thiru. Antony Raj blame Thiru Vaikundarajan’s influence for his defeat and he started giving interviews and statements against V.V.Mineral and Thiru. Vaikundarajan. In fact Thiru Antony Raj has deceived large number of poor children and involved in huge amount fraudulent. Regarding this nearly 80 cases were filed in various police stations and he was arrested. At present a complaint was given by the Director of Fisheries department and case was filed against him regarding abuse of  the food substances and kerosene in general distribution plan and misused the money in Fishermen Cooperative Society.

In support of Mining Activities : It has to be noted that the following seven Panchayat presidents and the panchayat members along with the public had submitted a memorandum in support of these mining companies in the areas as the mining companies are the major source of employment for part of these villages.

The seven fishermen panchayats are :

    1. Koodankulam
    2. Kootapanai
    3. Uvari
    4. Kuthenkuzhi
    5. Idinthikarai
    6. Perumanal
    7. Kootapuzhi

The pictures does not belong to VVM mining areas and any where near our operations. But these operations are in Kerala State near Chavara by Central and State Government companies. So this is also clearly a false allegation against V.V.Mineral.

Among the mining leases granted to V.V.Mineral except six all the other leases are granted for mining in  their own patta lands. These patta lands are situated near the coast and are replenished with mineral sands by wind action. The following photos will prove the same.

    Pic 19

The background of the false allegations

From 1988 onwards Thiru Dayadevadas  and V.V.Mineral are having enmity regarding accuring Korean customers. In 1988 itself Thiru Dayadevadas  has went to Korea and with his political influence he wish to atrract the customers. But the Korean customers has not changed from V.V. Mineral which was known for its quality and honesty. Proof : Telex

    Pic 20

After all his efforts since the Korean customers were not modify their state in 1989 Thiru. Dayadevadas has written to Korea as V.V.Mineral is undertaking illegal mining (Proof : Letter)

    Pic 21

He has written a number of complaints in various names. All the petitions were enquired and are quashed. So he changed his complaining method as a first step he registered a new company in the name Federation of Indian Placer Minerals and convinced people to agree that as a  Federation and started writing complaints from the frederation. In this regard CBI has ordered company registrar to take necessary actions. (Proof: given below)

    Pic 22

In fact Thiru Dayadevadas only carried out ill legal mining. But by using his political power he is continuously disturbing their business rival V.V.Mineral. Number of times he has got hold of by the authorities for illegal mining and penalty and punishment fee has been destined. The order copy of penalty destined to Thiru Dayadevadas by Authorities after discovering the fact that the company has quarried 12000 tons sand  by paying royalty for 4000 tons.

    Pic 23

After that also Thiru. Dayadevadas has involved in Mega mineral scandal by paying only 3 lakhs royalty he has quarried for 39 lakhs priced mineral sand. That was also found out by the authorities and legislative actions have been taken and his mining leases were cancelled. http://www.beachminerals.org/large-scale-illegal-mining-major-violations-tamilnadu-govt-determine-mining-lease-granted-southern-enterprises-belongs-dayadevadas-claim-president-federation-o/

    Untitled

In order to get rid of from the cases and legislative actions and to take revenge on V.V.Mineral and to dissociate the customers of V.V.Mineral  by his richness and political power he made few retired officers to give untruth  interviews in few private news channels and intentionally disseminate false allegation against V.V.Mineral. All these allegations were thoroughly investigated by the authorities and reported as false. For example by using Thiru. Sundaram IAS a big complaints was filed and in news papers and television mega interviews were given by the officer, Finally the joint inspection team of State and Central Government investigated the  complaint of Sundaram IAS  and reported that it is a fake complaint. The copy of the report is available in  http://www.beachminerals.org/wild-allegations-leveled-v-v-mineral-v-sundaram-ias-found-wrong-motive-envy-vindictive-far-away-truth/ . This copy was obtained under RTI Act from the Indian Government.

People like Thiru.Sundaram, Victor Rajamanikam  are working for Dayadevadas and for his sake they are filing fake complaints and all of them are an illegal conspiracy gang members. The detail is available in the website www.beachminerals.org and link http://www.beachminerals.org/video-home/.

In the aforesaid video itself  the retired IAS officer Sundaram said that he has made Thiru. Ashish Kumar to write the complaint against V.V.Mineral. Hence the District Collector Ashish Kumar’s report is also intentionally fabricated  fake report. All these informations were gathered after great struggle and arguements from various Goverment offices and Tamil Nadu Information Authority, V.V.Mineral Thiru S.Vaikundarajan has already filed petititon to the Tamil Nadu government  to demand crime case against   Thiru. Ashish Kumar.  The aforesaid petition and enclosures are available in the link  http://www.beachminerals.org/complaint-ashish-kumar-ias-making-false-report-v-v-mineral-part/

In addition in facebook one friend Vetri vel has registered four posts on 08.03.2015 regarding the background for Thiru Ashish Kumar’s report https://www.facebook.com/iruthayaannai/posts/799585323454858. This can also be viewed for clarification. Moreover to prove the fact that Ashish Kumar IAS report was prepared with an intention, an elaborate post with all the required documents like this will be registered very soon.

As per the information at persent the petition was interrogated by the vigilance department  and the files are taken under custody and a crime case was filed against Ashish Kumar IAS and an extensive interrogation has been going on.

Even then from time to time they pick up some journalist and made them to publish fake informations by giving money. Knowing that legal actions were taken and the news papers were given clarifications in their newspapers. Based on our complaint a vast number of facebook posts were deleted from the facebook after verifing the proof. Recently also using Mrs Sinthiya Ravichandran associated within this bandit gang it was made to write as  one lakh crore scadal in a news paper and based on that they made various political parties to release striking comments against the Government for an CBI investement. Finally when legal notice were sent  and legal action was started the aforesaid news paper in their news paper itself published that the news they have released is wrong and it was published without reviewing proper evidence based on a pending rit petition only they have published the news and they simply end as we regret for the error. Economic Times news paper also on 17.05.2015  release regret note for the mistake. So medias in order to increase their viewers circle are often publishing exaggerated news. (Proof : Below)

    Pic 24

The question may arise why you are showing objections  for CBI and other enquires. The fact is other nation’s law and order is not like India. V.V.Mineral is exporting their goods to developed countries and western countries like Europe and America. As per the law of their country if there is any enquiry pending against the exporting company those countries could not purchase any goods from such companies. So if they get order for these types of enquires the 25 years strive of the people to stop the sale and market of V.V.Mineral can be achieved. With this intention only with the help of various politicians, journalists and retired officers for business rivality Dayadevadas is doing these activities.

This universe has disciples who betrayed Jesus Christ for just 30 silver coins. Hence there is no marvel about retired officers writing complaints, giving interviews for the lakhs of money blowed by Thiru Dayadevadas. But as stated by friend Vetrivel they are selling their knowledge for money. They never say in any of the complaint that V.V.Mineral has illegally mined in this particular survey no. or village or complaint as mismatch in the royalty paid and sand quarried and here is the proof but continuously say like a broken tape recorder illegal mining  and illegal mining. The reason for their loudness is to made the government officials to relinquish their illegal activities.

But V.V.Mineral Organization is a legal organization. It has not done any illegal activities.  That is why this organization has received Best Exporter award continuously for the past twenty one years from the Indian Government. For the past ten years they have been receiving the Highest Exporter Award from the Tuticorin Port Trust. For getting this award nothing can be done against the rules because these awards are released after acknowledged by eighteen departments. This is the reason why they have changed their initial campaign illegal mining to thorium rich monazite was exported by V.V.Mineral.

In fact monazite cannot be exported. Customers will not accept goods containing Monozite. In addition the customs officers will allow import and export from the port after checking all the import and export goods for monazites and other radioactive substances. They are having all the required instruments. Moreover if radioactive substances are present in the ship it will cause danger to the sailors.  So radiation alarm facilities are available in the ship hence radioactive substances cannot be exported knowingly or unknowingly. Besides except India in all the foreign countries the price of monazite is cheap. Hence Indian government also has stopped producing monazite from 2004 itself. This can be verified in the parliament answer for Prime minister by the Rajyasabha to the question no. 420 on 26.11.2014 (Link: http://pib.nic.in/newsite/PrintRelease.aspx?relid=111923).

All these explanations are published to put a full stop for all the planned fake campaign against V.V.Mineral and Thiru. Vaikundarajan.
