India and Japan as the two countries try to revive an earlier agreement to trade in rare earth minerals in an effort to counter China’s global monopoly, sources familiar with the matter told ET.
Apart from differences on pricing, the Indian government is pushing Japan to transfer technology and set up industries in India to use these minerals.

I think by afraid to the politicians as well as the freelance reporters and medias which publishes News for money, our government is not encouraging monozite handling. If we use LED pulps we can save power consumption. Such a country like India, which face acute power shortage should encourage rare earth products. We are not using the same. But we are wasting the same. Will our Prime Minister Modi, realize the situation and pave the way under “Make In India” Scheme?
